"This was my first experience of a Light & Land trip and one of the most important elements was just how well organised, and planned, it was, yet led in a wonderfully low-key manner. The research and effort that had quite obviously gone into the planning was first class, and the result was a truly excellent variety of sites and scenery, which in most cases it would have been impossible to find on your own. In terms of photographic opportunities, these were terrific: from the gorges, barren landscapes and fertile valley floors of the Atlas Mountains, to the assorted Berber nomads appearing in all kinds of places, to the sand dunes of the Sahara, and finishing up getting lost in the souks of Marrakech, there was something for everyone. Very ably led by Giles Stokoe, with great support from Liz Williams, I for one thoroughly enjoyed the trip, and suspect it may not be my last Light & Land adventure. Until the next one……."
