I am however on the trace for a very special little teddy bear that goes by the name of Marbles He's black with a red bow. it was entrusted to me by my daughter and I think I may have left it either in the tent in the desert or at the last hotel. "In May/June 2008 you organised a tour of Morocco for me and I have never thanked you for what was a great time. I had a very nice driver with whom I had some adventures when he lost his way on the piste and we were stuck in sand dunes, and when the mountain road between the Gorges became difficult and we were bogged down in a muddy rivulet. He had relatives everywhere or friend of other drivers and so I was in many houses for cups of tea or even the odd meal. I also enjoyed being in the countryside and walking a bit where people did not seem to regard me as a cash cow as can happen in cities. Staying at Telouet with a house all to myself was a great finish but it was even better because I could sit for a long time at the market, the only European,and observe what was happening and take photos. It was quite a shock to then go to the Kasbah and find the succession of tour groups going through so close yet almost in a different world. As you can tell I thoroughly enjoyed it and learned a lot. Thanks again."

"Peggy and I are safely back in New York. We had a fabulous time in Morocco. Our driver Younis was exceptional. He went far above and beyond what we expected, including helping me to bargain prices over new clothes (to replace the ones in my lost luggage). He was also very kind to check on me when I was sick with food poisoning. Unfortunately, this happened on the night of the camel trek into the desert, so Peggy ended up going without me. She said it was the best part of the trip and loved her Berber guide. Overall, we had a wonderful time and have already recommended your company to others. “Thank you for arranging such a fabulous trip to us. My mom and I have a great time in this 6 days Marrakech to Fes desert trail. Especially thanks to our guide Idriss who was extremely knowledgeable and thoughtful. It make us feeling so safe and secure being with him. The scenery through Dades Gorge and the valley is stunning. Idriss was always concern about the road's condition and drove very safely during the whole trip. He seems knowing everything and people in the mountain and desert and showed us many interesting things. He was always point out somethings we missed and willing to stop anywhere to let us took the photos. We have some problems about the booking of the hotel in Merzouga, thanks for Idriss and Abdoulah, they take a prompt action to rearrange another hotel for us. And we are so enjoy the day in the desert area. He also took good care to us during the camel ride and camping in the desert. Without him, this trip will not be that fun and perfect. By taking Idriss's suggestion we had extended our trip one day longer to Imilchil which is the remarkable one in this trip. We will never forget the scenery and atmosphere in the lakeside. Very regret that we are not able to catch the wedding festival few days later after we gone. For sure we will come again. Visiting the nomads family was a very good experiences to us too. I am very pleased to have chosen Authentic Morocco in this journery and made our trip to be an unforgettable one. (This was not always easy as our idea of airconditioning differs from the 'Moroccon one' and travelling in July seems madness in retrospect!). None of us had been to Morocco before and it is a very interesting country. It was great to spend 3 days with the Berber people, we found them very hospitable. "Hope you are keeping well. Just got back from Morrocco yesterday evening, just checking my email now. Funny, the first thing I was going to do was email you and let you know what a lovely time Nadia and myself had. Morocco was great. The tour in particular was wonderful. Our driver Yunnus was very friendly, helpful and always made sure we were comfortable and showed us lots of things along the route. We also met Abdullah who was very nice and made sure we were ok and we had a nice chat with him. The night in the desert words could not describe, it was breathtaking. Todra Gorge, Atlas mountains and the beautiful Kasbah's particularly Ait Beindah, I could have happily stayed in there! (I think I said that right!) were just amazing, it was lovely to see the different Kasbah's both inhabited and those that were not. The people along the route and the families in the Kasbah were all very friendly. The film studios were wonderful. It was a lot of driving but it was worth doing as it was lovely to see the ever changing landscape and scenery that you could take in. For me the heat was too much and when I do go to Morocco again, I will definitely go in a cooler month!! I was extremely happy with the tour and so was Nadia and I would definitely recommend it to friends and family. Thank you for a wonderful time and all the advice for the desert!"

"Thank you so much to Authentic Morocco for giving us the chance to experience such a wonderful country and most of all to meet some fantastic people. Liz was brilliant from start to finish, always being on hand to answer our many questions and replying so quickly. Our guide Abdoullah was amazing and very patient. He had a lot of us to deal with and was put under a lot of pressure during our trip due to an unfortunate accident with one of our cars. I certainly learnt a lot from this very wise man, not only about the country and its culture but also about myself and those around me. For this I am indebted to him. The best part was how well he got on with the children. Other tour operators had shied away from us when we mentioned we would have children and in partuicular an 18 month old. This was no problem for Authentic Morocco and Abdoullah was fantastic with them all, my children will never forget him. Never believe what you read in books, the people are generous, unselfish and kind! An experience I will never forget and we look forward to our return. Many thanks."
