"From the moment we enquired about doing a 4 day tour to the Erg Chigaga dunes we were provided with prompt and insightful information to help create a tailor made tour for the six of us. The tour itself was even better than we hoped. Not only did we see amazing scenery and sights, our guide was extremely knowledgeable and friendly and we felt we had a truly authentic experience and a real taste of Moroccan life. Everyday provided us with highlights although sleeping under the stars in the desert will be one which we never forget! If you are considering doing an Authentic Morocco tour, we would highly recommend it. The only thing we would change next time would be to allow another day or 2 as there was a lot of driving, however it was definitely worth it!

“We travelled with Authentic Morocco for several days and were highly impressed with all aspects of their service. Both the drivers we had were top standard. Above all, they drove safely, especially on highways between towns where safe driving is very important. They were both polite, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. They turned up on time and the vehicles were clean. We felt very comfortable and always felt we were being well looked after. We briefly met one of the local managers, who was able to fix a minor difficulty with a hotel quickly and effectively. He was a courteous and friendly man. We would not hesitate to recommend Authentic Morocco to other travellers and would certainly use the company again if we are ever lucky enough to go back to Morocco, which has to be one of the most fascinating countries for visitors.”

Just a note to thank you for all of the arrangements for our recent holiday to Morocco. As expected it was very hot, the highest temperature we reached was 55 degrees, even the locals seemed to find that hot!! The hotels/riads were all excellent choices and the riad in Marrakech was like an oasis - the pool may be small but it was very welcome! It really is amazing what you find behind a very plain door, it was so quiet compared to the hustle and bustle outside and also a lot cooler than outside. I won't be sorry if I never ride another camel in my life, as it was one of the most uncomfortable things I have ever done, however it was worth it to spend the night in the desert, looking up at all of the stars and to see shooting stars!! The Berber guesthouse in Telouet was another great place to stay and Ali the owner was a very good guide for the Kasbah, which was a very surprising place on the inside considering how run down parts of it are. You would never have expected that rich decoration from the outside. Our guide Abdullah was excellent, he made the trip very interesting and he was very informative. We were very sorry to see him go unexpectedly in Telouet as by that stage we thought he was with us until the end. Essaouira was a nice relaxing place to spend a few days at the end and the temperature there was very pleasant, again the riad was excellent and couldn't have been in a better position, right in the thick of things. Our 19 year old, blonde daughter did get a little fed up of all of the male attention, especially in Essaouira, as they are very much in your face, although not threatening. We were offered 3000 camels for her and we were tempted, but she returned with us! Anyway thanks again for your suggestions, we would be interested to visit Morocco again in the future, but not in July or August.
