"We are lucky enough to have been to some fabulous places for New Years eve but this year we went somewhere totally awe inspiring and spent 5 days in the Sahara desert courtesy of Authentic Morrocco. I can honestly say this was one of the best experiences ever. Sitting around a roaring camp fire, under a twinkling sky of stars, listening to traditional music after eating the most scrumptious tagine ever beats them all. Watching the sun rise over miles and miles of gorgeous sand dunes and racing over empty salt planes comes a close second as does being reduced to tears and humility at sights you cannot imagine. This was one of the best organised tours myself or my husband have ever been on and I believe we both left a part of ourselves in the vast wilderness we travelled through. Thanks Liz. Also thanks to Jerry, Rashid, Mohammed our driver and all the others who contributed to our adventure."
