"The first belly dance holiday I ran in Morocco, in the desert, turned out to be more magical than I would have imagined. Every possible want or need that we had was taken care of. The food was consistently delicious and we had the benefit of interacting with local Berbers and their families, rather than simply staring out of a bus window for hours on end. There was also a real emphasis placed on each participant fulfilling her desert fantasy, whether by serving us dinner under the stars, inviting local musicians to perform or camel trekking to watch the sun set over the dunes. At the end of the holiday we all felt we had to return to this enchanting place."

“In October 2008 the holiday company Authentic Morocco provided a holiday for nine of our young people to enable them to spend ten days in Morocco. The nine young people involved live in five different children’s homes and their ages ranged from 13 to 17 years of age. The majority of them had very limited travel experience, some never having left Norfolk before, and were hugely excited by the prospect of the trip. The young people were accompanied by seven members of staff. The trip provided an opportunity of a lifetime and broadened the horizons of both the young people and the staff."
