Our 5-day desert tour, from Marrakech to the Sahara dunes of the Erg Chigaga sand sea, starts on the 30th December and returns to Marrakech on the 3rd January 2010. From Marrakech we cross the highest Atlas mountain road pass of Tizi-n-Tichka and travel along the Draa River Valley to the desert frontier town of Mhamid. From Mhamid we drive off-road, in our 4x4 Toyota Land Cruisers, over a desert wilderness to the sand dunes of Erg Chigaga via the Sacred Heart Oasis.

Celebrate New Year’s Eve under a star-filled desert night sky, ride a camel in the Sahara and sleep in a camp in the dunes. Also included in this 5-day Marrakech Sahara tour are the World Heritage Site of Ait Benhaddou and Kasbah el Glaoui in Telouet.
