Tours from Marrakech
If you are planning a holiday in Marrakech I recommend at least one day out to the Atlas Mountains to excape from the hustle and bustle of the city in the heat of summer. Options for a day trip include:

• the pretty coastal town of Essaouira
• the Ourika valley and Berber village of Setti Fatima
• the World Heritage Site of Kasbah Ait Benhaddou
• or cross the highest Atlas road pass of the Tizi-n-Tichka and walk through the abandoned Kasbah of el Glaoui in the traditional Berber village of Telouet
