Ramadan in Morocco
Morocco is an Islamic country in which people of many faiths have lived peacefully alongside each other for centuries. A Frequently Asked Question is whether it’s OK to travel during Ramadan and the answer is, Yes. Ramadan is a comparatively quiet month of the year when many Moroccans close their small businesses and shops to relax with their families. As sundown approaches people like to head home, or to the nearest café, to break the day’s fast. During this time please consider your driver/guide and plan your day such that there is opportunity for him/her to break fast with everyone else.
